Holy Places

The Incas also worshipped holy or
strange places and things, called huacas. They might be rocks, mountains,
rivers, and unusually-shaped trees that the Incas thought had special powers.
Offerings were made to huacas to ask for their help. The most important huacas
were offered sacrifices
